Our Essex Podiatry (Chelmsford) practice is a purely musculoskeletal clinic specialising in treating all forms of heel pain, ankle pain and shin and knee injuries due to altered lower limb function, injury, walking or sporting activities.

The most common adult foot disorders I see and treat are:

• Plantar Heel Pain (plantar fasciitis)
• Adult acquired flat foot and inside (medial) ankle pain (Tibialis Posterior Tendon Dysfunction)
• Ball of foot pain including Mortons Neuroma
• Outside of ankle pain (lateral) sinus tarsi syndrome or peroneal tendon disorders
• Achilles Tendon injuries
  

I also see a lot of exercise induced shin pain and knee pain in adults.

In children the most common disorders I successfully treat are:

• Heel Pain (Achilles pain and Severs disease)
• Painful flat feet
• Knee pain  Osgood-Schlatters and Patella-femoral pain
  

I use taping and strapping techniques, footwear advice, activity modification, exercise therapy and a whole range of functional foot orthoses to get you back on your feet and back to what you enjoy doing best.
